India will have a tough match against Australia in the upcoming Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The first Test of this five-match series begins in Perth on Friday. Fans are excited to witness the fierce rivalry between the two teams. Special focus on India’s star batsmen Virat Kohlienjoys large fan bases on both sides. Upon his arrival Down Under earlier this month, the Australian media went wild as Kohli dominated the headlines.

Kohli’s popularity around the world is not a new phenomenon, but Australia has set a new standard for him. Kohli’s stylish customized MRF bat is on sale in Australia for a whopping AU$2,985 (Rs 165,000).

Australian podcaster and YouTuber Norman Kochanek shared the shocking news in a video. The bat is on sale at the Greg Chappell Cricket Center and is autographed by Kohli.

What makes this even more shocking is that this bat rate is even more expensive than a ticket to British rock band Coldplay’s upcoming concert in India. The event will be held in Ahmedabad and the most expensive ticket for the concert is Rs 35,000.

Kohli’s recent social media posts right before the Test series against Australia worried many fans.

Kohli announced the 10th anniversary of his clothing brand ‘Wrogn’ on social media. However, the wording of the social media post left many fans very confused.

“Looking back, we were always a little different. We didn’t fit into any of the boxes they tried to put us in. Two misfits, we just hit it off. We’ve changed over the years, but we’ve always done things our way. Some called us “crazy, others didn’t understand.” Virat Kohli’s message was read on X (old Twitter).
