How draft season As the momentum picks up, it’s time to expand the conversation about selecting teams in the top 10. Rather than focusing solely on one projected draft pick, let’s look at three additional intriguing options for each of these teams.
Here are three additional intriguing options for teams finishing in the top 10: extending our project layout earlier this week.
1. TENNESSEE TITANS

The Titans hold all the power with the No. 1 overall ranking. As the team with the lowest passing grade in the NFL this season (56.9), you won’t find many mock drafts where they don’t take a quarterback at the top, with Cameron Guard And Sheader Sanders these are the most common names.
If they decide to get creative, use an Edge Rusher. Abdul Carter could be considered the most talented player in the class at a premium position. And, of course, the same can be said about Travis Hunterwho can play both ways for you – maybe not all the time, but to some extent both.
2. CLEVELAND BROWNWITH

In my last mock draft, the Browns replaced a quarterback with a versatile two-way star. Travis Hunter. With news about Deshaun Watson Having had a setback in their recovery from an Achilles tear, Ward and Sanders should be the focus – not only to get a new option at the quarterback position, but also to provide some cost control in terms of cap size.
They could also be interested in Carter, a star pass rusher, to form an elite duo with him. Myles Garrett. But the option that I think is most plausible for them if they don’t take a quarterback here is a trade down – staying in the top 10 but getting some extra draft capital for 2026.
3. NEW YORK GIANTS

Like the Titans (and the Browns and a few other teams), the Giants are in dire need of a quarterback. While they could explore options on the pro market, the most likely outcome appears to be a draft pick. Unfortunately, they have no control over their destiny in this regard, as they are behind two teams that could easily select Sheader Sanders and Cam Ward before their turn.

4. NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

With Drake Maye in hand, the Patriots won’t be struggling to change their No. 4 spot — although it’s hard not to think about how close they would have been to the No. 1 pick had they lost to the Bills in Week 18 . The Patriots have one of the least talented rosters in the NFL, meaning they could go either direction with this pick.
Travis Hunter could be an instant upgrade to a flagging secondary, Abdul Carter could give them the ability to change the passing game, or Tetairoa McMillan could become May’s top target right away. In my latest mock draft, I asked them to take LSU forward Will Campbell, who could help bolster an offensive line that has endured a league-high 240 points pressure this season.
5. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS

The Jaguars have several areas where they could benefit from an impact player. In my mock draft, I selected one of my favorite prospects in the class, Michigan defensive end Mason Graham. Graham is a strength in the run game and displays explosiveness as a pass rusher, making him an ideal player for Jacksonville’s front.
However, with Arik Armstead hinting at a potential return to defensive end next season and the team already drafting Mason Smith last year, they may look elsewhere. Other intriguing options include Will Johnson to complement Tyson Campbell in the secondary, Travis Hunter if he falls that far, or LSU’s Will Campbell to bolster the interior offensive line if there are any changes there.
6. LAS VEGAS RAIDERS
Mock Draft Selection: WR Cheers McMillan

The Raiders looked poised for a top-three pick — and perhaps a No. 1 overall pick — but winning two of their last three games dropped them to sixth place. around, especially after missing last year’s quarterback class for the same reasons.
With Davante Adams no longer on the roster, the Raiders can look to Arizona’s Tetairoa McMillan to fill the WR1 role. Alternatively, they could improve their league-worst coverage rate at cornerbacks (47.4) by targeting Michigan’s Will Johnson, who would immediately boost their secondary. This is also where Ashton Jeanty comes into the conversation. The versatile and dynamic running back from Boise State will help improve a defense that has a league-low 57.9 rating.
7. NEW YORK JETS
Mock Draft Selection: KB Will Johnson

The Jets remain in limbo as we await Aaron Rodgers’ decision on whether he will return next season. At this point, it appears he won’t, meaning quarterback will be high on the Jets’ list of priorities. If they decide to go in a different direction, replacing pending free agent guard DJ Reed could be key. Will Johnson will be a great addition to Sauce Gardner and help maintain a high level of talent in the high school.
Alternatively, Michigan’s Mason Graham could team with Quinnen Williams to create an elite interior defensive line, especially with Will McDonald and Jermaine Johnson continuing to develop on the edges. Tetairoa McMillan is another intriguing option, especially with Davante Adams and Rodgers both out of the picture, giving the Jets a potential WR1 to build around.
8. CAROLINE PANTHERS
Mock Draft Selection: ED Abdul Carter

The Panthers entered the season with an already weak power play defense, and the early loss of Derrick Brown only made the problem worse. Unsurprisingly, they finished with the lowest team grades in total defense, pass rush, and run defense. While Brown will return next season, Carolina will likely focus on bolstering its defense with this pick.
Edge forward Abdul Carter or inside force Mason Graham would be ideal fits, adding some much-needed energy to a pass rush that has struggled all year. Will Johnson could also be a strong candidate to counter Jaycee Horn, bolstering their secondary.
While Tetairoa McMillan looks attractive as a playmaker, the Panthers are more likely to use wide receiver depth on Day 2, especially after their passing game showed marked improvement late in the season.
9. NEW ORLEANS SAINTS
Mock Draft Selection: ED Nick Skorton
Intriguing selection: DT Mason GrahamFROM Calvin Banks Jr.ED Shemar Stewart
The Saints defensive line didn’t have a significant impact in 2024. With Cam Jordan aging and Brian Breezy and Chase Young unable to take the next big step, much of the unit’s effectiveness depended on Karl Granderson.
To solve this problem, the Saints could target a versatile and dynamic pass rusher like Skorton. While his 2024 campaign wasn’t as dominant as his 2023, his combination of agility, power and a plethora of pass rushes makes him a formidable contender at 280 pounds.
Other strong arguments include Mason Graham, who will anchor the interior, or Shemar Stewart, a massive 6-foot-6, 290-pound edge rusher from Texas A&M. Both bring much-needed playmaking ability to the defensive line.
The Saints could also turn to their offensive line for reinforcements. Will Campbell or Calvin Banks Jr. would provide versatility and the ability to play guard or tackle, giving New Orleans options if Trevor Penning is unable to take the next step in his development.
10. CHICAGO BEARS

For the Bears, strengthening the offensive line should be a top priority after allowing 199 runs this season. With several starters set to become free agents, targeting versatile players like Calvin Banks Jr. or Will Campbell who can excel at tackle or defense would be a logical move to provide immediate stability and long-term solutions in the trenches.
If the Bears decide to shift their focus to the defensive side of the ball, adding an explosive pass rusher could bolster a unit that needs more firepower. Texas A&M’s Shemar Stewart and Georgia’s Jalon Walker stand out as dynamic players, each combining athleticism and disruptive ability to bolster Chicago’s defense.
