Heading into Week 5 of the NFL season, not only can you struggle to set your lineups due to injuries, but four teams also have byes. The good news is that there are players who are still sitting on waivers that are set up to have a big fantasy day this weekend. If you’re in a pinch, here are five players to consider adding from the Waiver Wire title in Week 5.
QB Deshaun Watson, Cleveland Browns
Deshaun Watson Has yet to pass 200 yards or score more than 16 fantasy points in a game this season, but things should get easier for him moving forward. Not only that but he will get the TE back David Njoku Soon, but the Browns could finally keep their starting offensive line intact this weekend — both offensive tackles Jedrick Wills And Jack Conklin and starting center Ethan Posick Returned to practice this week. Over the next three weeks, Watson will face three weak defenses: Washington Commander, Philadelphia Eagles And Cincinnati Bengals.
If Watson can’t put together a good game behind a healthy offensive line this Sunday against the Commanders, we may see Jameis Winston Under center sooner rather than later.

With four teams on byes, and multiple injuries throughout the running back position, Sarmon is a tough starting option this week.

WR Dontavion Weeks, Green Bay Packers

All would likely have been drafted before the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft had he not torn his ACL in October 2023. It’s impressive how quickly he’s been able to bounce back and earn playing time in the NFL.
All Jr. isn’t a great option for starting fantasy lineups right now, especially considering he’s got a tough matchup against Baltimore Ravens This week, but the breakout could come sooner rather than later. If your fantasy roster struggles at the tight end position, as many do, you should be stashing all the juniors on your bench right now. If his snaps and routes continue to increase this week, he could be a viable option to start in Week 6 New York Giants.
