On the contrary, Sportstar reported that the auction will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and will be a two-day event (November 24 and 25).

Initially, London and Singapore were considered as venues for the auction. However, Riyadh is now leading the race thanks to its advantageous time zone.

“The IPL board and officials are in the ‘final stages’ of completing construction of a venue that will be able to accommodate the entire entourage, including delegations from 10 franchises and a large team from Jio and Disney Star, within three days,” Sportstar reported.
