Head Coach of the Indian Cricket Team Gautam Gambhir wished Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on his 59th birthday on Saturday. Taking to his official social media handle, the 43-year-old wished Shah Rukh and shared a photo of him wearing a Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) jersey. “For a man who turns 25! Your energy, charisma and charm are getting younger every year! May you continue to spread love forever!” Gambhir wrote on X. Gambhir was the mentor of Shah Rukh Khan-owned IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders.

Shah Rukh Khan’s charismatic personality is evident in his huge fan following. Fondly referred to as the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan’s rise to fame began in New Delhi, where he first gained attention in 1989 with the TV series Fauji.
His film career skyrocketed with hits like Deewana, Darr and Baazigar, but it was Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge that truly cemented his superstar status. After a long hiatus, Khan made a strong comeback in 2023 with blockbusters like Pathan, Jawan and Dunki, reaffirming his title as the King of Bollywood.
In August, during a conversation with Giona A. Nazzaro, artistic director of the Locarno Film Festival, SRK spoke about his career and achievements. He spoke about his preparation for his next film ‘The King’ and his collaboration with director Sujoy Ghosh.
He said: “There are certain types of films that I want to make, maybe they are more age-oriented and I want to try something for 6-7 years. I thought about this and once mentioned it to Sujoy Ghosh when we were Sitting. He works with us in our office and has made several films for us. He says: sir, I have a topic.
SRK also talked about losing weight for his film The King, “The next film I’m doing is The King, I need to start working on it, I need to lose a little weight, stretch a little,” he added.
There has been no official announcement about the film yet.
