There are ups and downs to consider as Week 15 approaches

Josh Allen And Zach Charbonnet Power fantasy in the playoffs: The quarterback and running back came to the rescue for those needing a big performance in Week 14 from their fantasy teams.

Isaiah Pachecoshares are falling rapidly: Pacheco handled 70% of the Chiefs’ running backs’ carries, but he had little wiggle room before contact.

Preparing for the next week of the fantasy football season often involves diving into potential waiver adds or destroy more secretive last week’s game trends. But it’s also useful to evaluate what’s right in front of us: the players who have succeeded and those who haven’t lived up to expectations.

BOOM

QB Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills

While fantasy managers were fighting for playoff spots, Josh Allen posted a season-best 424 yards and six touchdowns en route to 51.8 fantasy points.

Despite the loss Allen torched the Rams’ secondary stadium in the air and on foot. ABOUTn throws over 20 yards, He went 6-of-6 passing for 198 yards, three touchdowns and a perfect passer rating of 158.3. On the ground, Allen tallied 82 yards, 49 yards after contact, six rushing first downs, four forced fumbles and three more touchdowns.

If you were in contention for a playoff spot in Week 14 and got Josh Allenwelcome to the postseason. (I hope).

Forward: QB1

WR Puka Nacua, Los Angeles Rams

The best way to resist Josh Allen “boom” – the week was supposed to happen Puka Nacua on your fantasy team, as he wrote 12 receptions, 178 yards and two touchdowns en route to 41.8 PPR points.

Nacua’s overall PFF grade of 92.3, 84 yards after the catch and six receptions of 15-plus yards led all receivers this week.

Since returning to action in week 8, I understand This is PPR WR2 – Rams q resultdefender Matthew Stafford I feed him and Cooper Coup.

Forward: High-end WR1

RB Zach Charbonnet, Seattle Seahawks

Charbonnet significantly intensified for Kenneth Walker III.

The sophomore running back recorded 134 yards (most), 125 yards after contact (most), six forced fumbles (second), four rushes of 10-plus yards (second), two touchdowns and a 38.3 PPR. fantasy points.

The Cardinals had no answer for Charbonnet, who averaged 6.1 yards per carry on 22 rushing attempts. Unfortunately for his fantasy value will plummet once Walker returns to action.

Forward: Mid-tier RB1 or high-end RB2 without Walker; low cost flexible game with Walker

BUSTS

RB Isaiah Pacheco, Kansas City Chiefs

Pacheco has underwhelmed since returning two weeks ago, scoring 5 PPR fantasy points in Week 13 and 8 in Week 14.

Usage was not an issue in Week 14 as Pacheco still handled 70% of the Chiefs’ running backs. But Kansas City’s offensive line gave him just 15 yards before contact.

Patrick Mahomes also didn’t look Pacheco’s way often in the passing game, giving him just three receptions over the last two weeks after the two connected on seven passes in weeks one and two.

Temperature check: Was worried

WR AJ Brown, Philadelphia Eagles

Brown is coming off a string of stunning weeks in a row after catching four passes for just 43 yards in Week 14.

Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts finished with 108 yards passing against the Panthers, so Brown didn’t have many scoring chances, but none of the team’s passes went his way.

There’s no need to worry about Brown, who had a quieter day against a surging Panthers team that is staying in the game after early-season turmoil. Additionally, Philadelphia continues to rely heavily on running backs. Saquon Barkley (20 attempts).

Temperature check: Still a high-end WR1

RB James Cook, Buffalo Bills

If one player scores six touchdowns, his teammates are bound to lose. Unfortunately, this was the case with James Cook at 14 weeks.

Josh Allen picked up all three of the Bills’ rushing scores, and Cook didn’t account for a single passing touchdown. It didn’t help that Buffalo was often looking to shoot while playing catch-up. Prepare was the only Bills running back to record a rushing attempt, although there were only six.

Temperature check: I’m not worried; result of the game from behind and in Josh Allen superhero game
