“It’s good to be married 4 times, but…”: Pakistani cricketer Ahmed Shehzad reveals his love live

Pakistani dough that has fallen out of favor Ahmed Shehzad suggested he had no plans to remarry, insisting he had been happily married his entire life. Shehzad’s remarks came after Pakistani YouTuber Nadir Ali quizzed him about his personal life and asked if he was planning to get married again. Shehzad admitted that although his religion allows him to marry four times, he said that he is satisfied with his personal life and does not feel the need to look for another life partner. For the unversed, Shehzad married his childhood friend Sana Ahmad in 2015 and the couple has two children.

“How many times should I marry? I’m already married. I won’t marry again. I got married once. I’m really happy with one wife. I have children with her. I don’t need another wife. I know you can marry four times, but I happy with one wife. There is no need for that,” Shehzad said. Nadir Alipodcast.

Shehzad further shared his views on the topic, adding, “You should appreciate it if your spouse is good. You shouldn’t do anything that will break her heart just because it’s fashionable or it’s allowed. Yes, if you feel you are going down the wrong path, then you should get into a second marriage as soon as possible.”

Shehzad is currently not involved in Pakistan’s national system. He last played for Pakistan during a T20I match at home against Sri Lanka in October 2019.

He has not played cricket since the Grade I President’s Cup (1-day) in May 2024, where he represented WAPDA. Due to lack of opportunities, Shehzad shifted his focus to a career on YouTube. The 33-year-old shares cricket analysis videos and often criticizes the Pakistan cricket team and its players.
