There were plenty of impressive performances from the first-round rookies in Week 12, especially from the quarterbacks and cornerbacks.
As always, we’ll be keeping an eye on their progress and their main opponents as many of them and their teams are chasing the postseason.
Choice #1: Chicago Bears: QB Caleb Williams
Overall Rookie Rating: 67.5 (Rank: 4/5)
Main opponent: no data.
Week 12 Snaps: 76
Week 12 Score: 74.8.
Williams posted his second positive test under interim offensive coordinator Thomas Brown. His five perfect throws, including an incredible cross-body pass while rolling to his right, represent a season high. He led a furious double-digit comeback that sent the game against Minnesota to overtime. He wasn’t able to finish the job with a win, but Williams showed why he deserves the first pick.
