‘Gautam Gambhir insulted my family, said bad things about Sourav Ganguly’: Manoj Tiwari

Former India and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batter Manoj Tiwari launched into a tirade criticizing the current senior coach of the national team Gautam Gambhir. Tiwari and Gambhir were former teammates not only in the Indian Premier League but also in the Delhi State team. With Gambhir facing criticism for mistreating the Indian team due to recent results against Australia and New Zealand in Tests, Tiwari branded him a “hypocrite” who does not practice what he preaches.

The criticism that Gambhir has faced recently, especially from Tiwari, has led to India becoming the leader Harshit Ranawho made his Test debut in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, will come to his defence. But Rana’s defense does not surprise Tiwari.

Tiwari also opened up some old chapters of his relationship with Gambhir, saying that the latter even abused his family and said bad things about the former India captain. Sourav Ganguly.

Tiwari remains skeptical about Gambhir’s decisions in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. He questioned the selection of players like Harshit Rana and Devdutt Padikkal compared to other proven first-class cricketers.
