Henry Olonga, once the victim of Sachin Tendulkar’s rage, now works as an artist in Australia

“I love Australia. I am married to an Australian woman and have two children,” Olonga said. Sports stars.

Speaking about his foray into the art world, Olonga said: “I have always had this soft side and I never considered it unusual or strange. I’ve always liked variety. I get bored doing one thing.”

Olonga was present at the Adelaide Oval for the second Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test. He was seen painting the cricket stadium.

Olonga last played for Zimbabwe in the 2003 ODI World Cup, after which his stance on political atrocities in Zimbabwe led to his departure from the team.

Although not actively involved in cricket, Olonga still follows the game and particularly enjoys the pace of India. Jasprit Bumraheven leaving behind a high compliment for the 31-year-old.

“(Jasprit) Bumrah is a better bowler and he has a little bit of hyperextension which gives him an edge. He reminds me of Wasim (Akram) from the short run-up.”

Mugabe also recalled Tendulkar’s rampage against Zimbabwe when India won the three-way series.

“Everyone remembers because it’s on YouTube. I got him (Tendulkar) out and then in the final he went crazy, I made a lot of runs (6-0-50-0) and he smashed it,” Olonga said.
