Jim Harbaugh quickly turned things around. Los Angeles Chargersgiving them a chance to return to the playoffs this season. Justin Herbert is having the best year of his young career and the future looks bright for the Chargers.
Here’s how we could prepare them for sustainable success with the project in its current form.
Round 1 (25): TE Tyler Warren, Pennsylvania
Warren is enjoying an incredible 2024 season and is ready to deliver Justin Herbert with a fantastic target in the red zone in the Chargers passing attack. Warren earned a stellar PFF receiving grade of 91.8, averaging 3.07 yards per carry and missing just one of the 68 passes caught his way this season.
Round 2 (57): WR Xavier Restrepo, Miami
Adding another playmaker to replace Herbert in the second round is a smart move, and Xavier Restrepo fits the bill. Restrepo has produced PFF grades above 80.0 in each of the last two seasons and has been incredibly reliable, missing just 4.6% of his catchable targets during his college career.
Round 3 (88): EDGE Quandrius Robinson, Alabama
Robinson showed tremendous potential in a limited role for Alabama in 2024. He earned a 91.2 pass-rush grade this season with 19 total pressures, including nine sacks or quarterback hits, in just 110 passes.
