Watt, Hayward and Highsmith finished the season with a PFF grade of 90.2 or better, with Herbig not far behind with an impressive 82.0 overall grade.

Tennessee finished the season with 139 stops, fourth in the NFL, and 54 tackles for loss or no gain, good for third. They also tied Cleveland for the league’s lowest defensive decline rate.

The defensive line is the heart of any successful defense, its job is to both confuse the opposing quarterback with the pass and stop rushing attacks at the line of scrimmage.
Elite defensive lines can change the course of a game by applying pressure, forcing rushed shots and creating turnovers, and suppressing the game to control the tempo.
This season we’ll be following the NFL defensive line throughout the season. Unlike our offensive line rankings, which in some cases take into account the previous season’s rankings, these rankings will be based solely on 2024 games.
