Kansas City Chiefs unwrapped their Christmas present early Sunday morning with a 29-10 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and securing the AFC’s first playoff spot and home-field advantage.
Patrick Mahomes was in excellent form, completing 29 of 38 passes for 320 yards and three touchdowns without a single pass-worthy play, while Russell Wilson struggled under relentless pressure, taking five sacks and throwing an interception as the Steelers offense sputtered.
It’s a fitting gift for the Chiefs, who now have the clearest path to the Super Bowl.

Baltimore Ravens 31, Houston Texans 2
Lamar Jackson on Wednesday etched his name into the NFL record books by breaking the league record for career rushing by a quarterback. Baltimore Ravens‘dominant victory over Houston Texans.
The win not only showcased Jackson’s historic talent, but also solidified Baltimore’s bid for an AFC North title and solidified his MVP candidacy.
Jackson rushed for 87 yards and a score, throwing for 168 yards and two touchdowns, the Ravens’ best.
With his efforts, Jackson surpassed Michael Vick’s long-standing record of 6,109 career rushing yards, bringing his total to 6,110 and cementing his place as one of the most dynamic backs in NFL history. The Ravens’ win further makes them serious contenders in the postseason.

On Saturday night, under bright lights, Burrow took center stage and delivered another masterful performance worthy of any award and all the adulation. In a game the Bengals might not have won, Burrow finished 40 of 50 for 419 yards and three touchdowns, and his third score sealed a dramatic 30–24 overtime victory over the Denver Broncos. .

Los Angeles Rams won a landslide victory over Arizona Cardinals on Saturday night, maintaining their lead in the NFC West and extending their winning streak to five games.
The decisive moment of the game came in just 37 seconds when Akello Witherspoon made a diving interception on a deflected pass in the end zone, sealing the hard-fought victory for the Rams.
Los Angeles leaned heavily on its defense in a game in which the offense struggled to find a rhythm. Puka Nacua was a bright spot, racking up 129 receiving yards while Cow Williams scored the Rams’ only touchdown.

Philadelphia Eagles won Dallas Cowboys 41-7 at Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday.
The Eagles were able to take a three-point lead in the first half, taking advantage Cooper Rush And Jake FergusonThree combined team turnovers as Philadelphia’s 17 points after a flurry of possession proved to be the difference in the score (24-7) heading into halftime.
The Cowboys seemed to be running out of gas and faced a three-point deficit in the second half as they were unable to erase the Eagles’ lead.
Defender Kenny Pickett put together a promising game for Philadelphia before injury cut his day short. He regularly picked the Cowboys’ quarterback. Andrew Booth by targeting DeVonta Smith whenever Philly needed a play in the air, and it worked flawlessly.

Buffalo Bills 40, New York Jets 14
Aaron Rodgers And Josh Allen each left early in the fourth quarter, a byproduct of the team’s 40-14 barrage. New York Jets By Buffalo Bills. One is a four-time NFL MVP, and the other is knocking on the door of his first.
Allen earned an elite 90.0 overall PFF grade after early reviews and will likely remain an MVP frontrunner despite his modest statistical numbers. The Jets failed to score under Rodgers and only joined the scoring celebration after a backup. Tyrod Taylor entered the game.

Jacksonville Jaguars 20, Tennessee Titans 13
Jacksonville Jaguars won Tennessee Titans 20-13 at EverBank Stadium on Sunday.
In a battle between teams vying for a top-five pick in 2025 NFL Draftoutstanding rookie receiver Brian Thomas Jr. and defender Mac Jones were able to muster just enough offense to lead Jacksonville to victory.
In the rookie wide receiver class, Thomas was clearly the most efficient, and Sunday’s performance was just another feather in his cap as he finished with seven receptions from 10 targets for 91 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 48, Carolina Panthers 14
Mike Evans finished with an 11th straight 1,000-yard receiving season, Mayfield threw for 359 yards and five scores, and Irving topped 100 yards on 20 carries. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated every corner of the Carolina Panthers, despite some solid performances from quarterback Bryce Young, en route to a 48-14 victory in Week 17.
With the win, the Buccaneers are in prime position to claim the NFC South pending the results of the Atlanta Falcons’ Sunday night game against the Washington Commanders.

Las Vegas Raiders 25, New Orleans Saints 10
Las Vegas Raiders won New Orleans Saints 25-10 at Caesars Superdome on Sunday.
Raiders Quarterback Aidan O’Connell and run back Amir Abdullah led the Raiders offense with six hits on Sunday. O’Connell finished with two touchdowns and Abdullah gained over 140 yards.
The Raiders’ defense was just as effective against the Saints. Led by EDGE K’Lavon Chesson And Tyree WilsonLas Vegas’ nine combined pressures continually made life difficult for Saints quarterback Spencer Rattler.

New York Giants 45, Indianapolis Colts 33
One team lost, and the other… also lost.
The New York Giants put up a valiant fight against the playoff hopes of the Indianapolis Colts, knocking them out of postseason contention with a score of 45-33. But in doing so, they potentially lost pole position for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.
However, Drew Lock enjoyed a career-high game, throwing for four touchdowns and rushing for another. Mixed emotions from Giants fans aside, it was an impressive performance from Lock, who earned an overall PFF grade of 75.0 after early reviews.

Miami Dolphins 20, Cleveland Browns 3
Tyler Huntley acted in place of the wounded Tua Tagovailoa and headed Miami Dolphins to a victory with a score of 20:3 over Cleveland BrownWith on Sunday, keeping playoff hopes alive heading into the season finale.
Starting with Tagovailoa, who was sidelined with a hip injury, Huntley scrambled for a touchdown and threw for another, doing just enough to help the Dolphins (8-8) stay within one game of contention.

Minnesota Vikings 27, Green Bay Packers 25
Green Bay Packers found themselves fighting from behind Minnesota Vikings again and ended up losing by a small loss of 2 points. Much like the Week 4 matchup at Lambeau Field, where the Vikings won 31-29, this Week 17 game followed a familiar pattern.
Due to turnovers and offensive struggles, the Packers entered halftime with a significant deficit. After trailing by 17 points in the fourth quarter, Green Bay came back strongly to close the gap. However, the defense failed to make a decisive shot in the final two minutes, allowing the Vikings to run out the clock and take the win.

Washington Commanders 30, Atlanta Falcons 24
Washington Commanders achieved a thrilling 30-24 victory over Atlanta Falcons on Sunday Night Football in Week 17, punching its ticket to the playoffs in Jayden Daniels‘First year.
Washington actually held a 24-17 lead with two minutes left, but gave up fourth-and-goal on an 11-yard pass to the tight end. Kyle Pittsallowing the Falcons to tie the game. And then, after punting the ball back to Atlanta in the final seconds, Washington caught a break when the Falcons kicker Riley Patterson missed a 56-yard field goal attempt that would have won the game.
The commanders took advantage of their luck, winning the toss in extra time. Defender Jayden Daniels orchestrated a masterful 12-play, 70-yard drive, capped by a 2-yard touchdown pass to the tight end Zach Ertzwho scored his second of the evening.
Daniels had an outstanding game, completing 24 of 36 passes for 227 yards and three touchdowns. He was just as dangerous on the ground, rushing for 127 yards on 16 carries, demonstrating why he was critical to the Commanders’ success this season.
