DEFENDER OF THE WEEK: EDGE: Nick Bonitto, Denver Broncos
Bonitto found the end zone on one of the craziest plays of the season, returning a pass from Colts wide receiver Adonai Mitchell for a touchdown. He also impressed as a pass rusher, collecting four pressures in 27 passes.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK: Edgerrin Cooper, Green Bay Packers
The Packers’ second-round draft pick was everywhere in the Packers’ win over the Packers. Seattle Seahawks Sunday Night Football. As a pass rusher, he recorded a sack, a quarterback hit and a rush on three blitz attempts and also had an interception in coverage.
