McConkey was incredible in the Chargers’ loss to the Texans, averaging 5.32 yards per run. Two of his nine receptions in the game came on contested catches, and he finished the game with a career-high 91.0 PFF receiving grade.
DEFENDER OF THE WEEK: CB Derek Stingley Jr., Houston Texans
Chargers quarterback targeted by Stingley 10 times Justin Herbert in the Texans’ victory on Saturday afternoon. While he allowed five receptions for 62 yards, he also broke up passes and recorded two interceptions, finishing the game with a PFF coverage grade of 94.9.
