Philadelphia Eagles survived an upstart Carolina Panthers22-16, move to 11-2.
In the run game, Philadelphia once again moved the ball well with .354 EPA per game with 215 net yards and a total of eight explosive runs. The Eagles’ stout defense was also strong again, limiting Carolina to -0.013 EPA per play and 4.3 yards per play.
Even though Caroline lost, Bryce Young once again gave hope. The former No. 1 overall pick made the perfect shot. Xavier Legette which would have given the Panthers a last-second tie (if not for the lead), but the ball was punted. Young completed 20 of 36 passes for 195 yards, two solid throws, two turnover-worthy plays and a PFF passer grade of 61.3 pending final review.
