Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) is in full swing, Australia’s star all-rounder Elise Perry It made a young fan’s day. Perry, who plays for the Sydney Sixers, took time out of his WBBL schedule to throw a few balls to a young fan wearing a shirt with his name and number on the back. This wholesome moment was witnessed by many people, many of whom were also young children. Perry is one of the most popular female cricketers in the world.
First, Perry threw a few balls under his arm to a young fan holding a bat. She then high-fived a fan before taking him into her arms.

Perry, 34, is considered one of the best all-rounders in women’s cricket. For Australia, she won two ODI World Cup titles and six T20 World Cup titles.
She also played for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) women’s team in the Women’s Premier League (WPL), helping the franchise win its first league title in men’s and women’s cricket in 2024. She remained with the franchise prior to the WPL. 2025.
Perry is currently the leading scorer in WBBL 2024 with 315 RBIs and a strike rate of over 150 in six games. In the process, he scored 50 RBIs three times. However, despite Perry’s heroics, Sydney Sixers sit fifth in the league table, just outside of the top four to qualify for the play-offs.
Perry is not only one of Australia’s greatest female cricketers (averaging 50 points in the WODI) but also a versatile athlete. Perry is also proud of her soccer career, representing Australia at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup, where she also scored her country’s only goal in the quarter-finals.
