After the memorial ceremony, Ramakant’s daughter Vishakha Dalvi spoke about her late father, shedding light on his “selfless” attitude as a coach.

“Sir has always been known as the ‘dedicated coach’ in the headlines. He never had a commercial approach. For him, the essence of a teacher’s job was to guide children, and he did this with all his heart. He shaped the future of his students. , always putting others before himself. We can call him a saint because people like him are rare. It is because of him that I am where I am today,” she told ANI.

“He has received many awards such as the Dronacharya Award, Lifetime Achievement Award and Padma Shri. Despite his accolades, he remained a simple man who knew how to love and live life to the fullest. I never saw him tired. Even after returning from the tour, he immediately went to the ground after eating. Relaxation was not in his vocabulary and I am going down the same path,” she added.
